Penelope Jane Orsini is the Chef-owner of Penelope Jane Wedding Cakes. She emphasizes her sweet creations to not only look good, but to taste good. Her passion is in using only Napa Valley grown fruits in her desserts. Penelope's love for baking started at an early age with her easy-bake-oven.  As she got older she  traded in her light-bulb oven for a commercial one.   She has been baking professionally for 10 years and received her Baking Pastry Certificate at  The Culinary Institute of America.  Her industry experience started in bakeries of San Diego and  later took to New York City.  In the kitchens of Grammercy Tavern, The River Cafe and the  renowned St Regis Hotel, she developed her skills and refined her style.  Started in 2006, Penelope Jane Wedding Cakes is small home-based business, located in the  world renowned wine region of The Napa Valley.  In her rented commercial kitchen she creates a  variety of delectable desserts ranging from whimsical cakes, to varieties of tarts, cupcakes, chocolate  truffles and restaurant quality desserts.
